United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women (UMW) is a group of women organized for mission and participation in the global ministries of the church. Several small groups (or "circles") of UMW meet each month. Church-wide unit meetings are held at various times throughout the year for fellowship and study.

The Well

The Well is a place where women come periodically throughout the year to be replenished. There is always a special guest speaker, guest musician(s) and a catered dinner. Bring your friends for a Ladies' Night Out, bring a visitor to our church to help them feel the warmth of women who care... or just come alone and find a great table of women ready to be your friend! Each evening God uses ordinary women to accomplish His extraordinary will and bless women in the process.

There are a few Bible studies specifically for women that meet on a weekly basis during the school year...

Ladies' Bible Study with Kenda Diehm
Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:00 AM in Room 2011 of the Family Life Center

Wednesday Beth Moore studies
There is almost always a group doing a study written by Beth Moore. The study is generally offered at two different times - one morning and one evening. We will be doing Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David for our summer study. The study features video presentations with Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur. These three women explored their lives and the life of David in this six-session Bible study. The messages are divided into three segments, two lessons from each author. Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life. You’ll laugh, cry, and learn to love God! The study begins Wednesday, July 7, and meets through August 11. Choose morning (9:30-11:30 AM) or evening session 6:00-8:00 PM), both in Room 2007 of the Family Life Center (Downtown Campus). Childcare available. Ladies' Book Study
There is also a book study group that meets on a regular basis. This group is currently meeting Wednesdays, 9:30-11:00 AM in Room 2011 of the Family Life Center. Current study: Women of the Bible

Women in Transition Workshops

Women in Transition Workshop combines the benefits of Life Coaching with a Christian Perspective for women in our community and our church who are experiencing any kind of change in their lives such as divorce, job change or loss, becoming an empty nester or simply looking for direction and guidance in what is next.
